If you’re new here at De Anza College, or if you just haven’t been paying attention, we’d like to introduce ourselves. We are your De Anza Associated Student Body Senate (commonly referred to as "DASB"), and we’d like to welcome you to our great campus. As your student government, we are available to help you and answer your questions. What is the DASB Senate?
Established in 1967, the DASB Senate has been actively representing the students’ interest on the college and district level. As an associated student body, we vote on issues and policies that are important to the De Anza student population.
We offer…
1) Scholarships and book grants
Every quarter, DASB offers numerous scholarships and book grants to students.
Categories include:
- International students
- Part time students
- Full time students
- 4.0 GPA students
2) Student discounts
With your DASB card, you can get discounts at local businesses, restaurants, eateries and coffee shops.
We fund...
Every year, DASB allocates over one million dollars in funds to programs and services to enrich and empower the students of De Anza College.
We fund/partially fund:
1) Tutorial Center
2) Honors program
3) La Voz, the school newspaper
4) ICC (Inter Club Council)
5) Many other programs and services
